Privacy Policy
We protect the privacy of everyone who visits our store, website or social media, or contacts us, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Your name, email, phone, delivery address, and anything you send us through forms, messages or bookings.
- What you buy, and your delivery and payment arrangements.
- For the 7-Night Sleep Promise, we sight your photo ID (we don't record the number) and photograph the goods at delivery and collection.
- At your Sleep Fit, what you tell us about how you sleep and any aches or pains. If you take part in a Personal Sleep Analysis, we also collect sleep data from our Withings Sleep Analyzer. This is health information, and we only collect it with your consent.
- How you use our website and respond to our ads, through cookies and similar tools.
We collect most of this directly from you: in store, by phone, text or email, and through our website, bookings, social media and ads.
How we use it
To answer enquiries and book Sleep Fits; recommend a mattress and give sleep tips; handle your purchase, delivery, 7-Night Sleep Promise, warranty claims and Backup visits; send confirmations, invoices and delivery updates; send offers and news by email or text (you can unsubscribe at any time); improve our website, ads and service; and meet our legal obligations.
Sleep and health information
We keep it securely and use it only for your mattress recommendation and sleep tips, never for marketing. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
Website analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics to understand how people use our website, such as which pages they visit and where they tap, so we can make it easier to use. Clarity records anonymised page interactions and does not record what you type into forms. Microsoft handles this data under its own privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com.
Cookies and ads
Our website uses cookies and tools from Meta and Google to measure visits and show our ads to people who have visited our site. You can block cookies in your browser and change your ad preferences in your Meta and Google accounts.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as needed with manufacturers (for warranty claims), Humm (if you apply for finance), our bank (for card payments), the providers who run our website, bookings, email, cloud storage and ads, and anyone the law requires. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it. Some of these providers store information overseas, including in the United States.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, change or disclosure, and to destroy or de-identify it when we no longer need it. No internet transmission is completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
Contact us in writing to see or correct your information (we may need to confirm who you are), or if you think we've mishandled it. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Updates
We may update this policy. The current version is always on our website.
